These placemats are simple but versatile. They are a beautiful neutral color and I love the different texture on each side of the placemat. These are easy to clean and in the 3 months I’ve been using them, I have not had issues with staining. I don’t typically put hot items directly on the placemats so I can’t speak on that. Overall I highly recommend!

These are high quality placemats with a burlap textured look on one side and a leather textured look on the other side. The leather side wasn’t really shown in the product photos, so it was a pleasant surprise! They are made of a material that can be easily wiped clean and won’t trap crumbs, which I think makes them very sanitary and durable as placemats. I agonized over which of the 3 brown shades would best match my decor, so I am a bit disappointed the color I received does not have the same undertones of the “taupe” color I saw on screen (see my comparison photo). I do graphic design work, so I have a fairly accurate, white-balanced screen and am well aware of the differences between my screen and objects in person. But I thought their product photos looked perfectly white balanced, so I expected the undertones I saw on my screen would be what I received. What I saw was a slightly pink-toned neutral brown, but what I got is a slightly yellow-toned greyish brown. I have a ring light I can set to simulate 5 degrees of daylight, neutral, or incandescent light temperature, but regardless of the lighting, the undertones in this placemat are not a match to ANY of the brown colors shown in the listing, as you can see in my comparisson photo.

My husband often eats in front of the TV at our lift top coffee table, and these placemats have been perfect for keeping the table free of spills, crumbs, and scratches. The gray-blue color is beautiful and has a nice textured finish. While my own photos didn’t quite capture the shade, the professional product images are spot on. They add a polished look while being very practical. Beyond protecting a coffee table, these would be great on a dining table, desk, or even under pet bowls to keep the area neat. You could also use them under plants or decorative pieces to prevent water marks and scratches on furniture. Since they’re easy to wipe clean, they’re convenient for everyday use in any room of the house. I highly recommend these placemats. They come as a set of two, are durable, and look good while making cleanup a breeze. A simple product that makes life easier and keeps surfaces looking their best.
